Assistant Accountant

This programme includes the AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting. You will master more complex accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants.
Note: Due to funding regulations, your business area will need to fund your registration costs, professional examination fees and any resit costs if you fail an assessment. This will also include any travel expenses incurred should you attend a BPP Centre. 

Programme structure

Aligned to an industry approved standard it focuses on building capability through:
  • AAT – Advanced Diploma in Accounting
  • Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
  • Externally accredited End Point Assessment

Time commitment

You'll need time during working hours and must be confident you're able to allocate this within your workload. You'll receive a plan of your journey, it'll broadly consist of:
  • Fixed time of approx 3 hours per week
  • Flexible time of approx 3 hours per week
